Contactless entry with automatic license plate recognition
Contactless access to the privileged stopping area along the arrivals hall will also be possible in calendar year 2024. Upon entry, a camera automatically records the license plate as an access medium.
License plate registration
Right of way with a non-registered license plate is not possible. Only vehicles belonging to the respective institution are permitted right of way. Vehicles belonging to commercial transportation providers, including rental cars or cabs, are not entitled to right of way.
Regulation
Stopping along the arrivals hall is only permitted for the process of dropping off or picking up passengers. For longer parking periods, the paid parking areas at Vienna Airport must be used.
Misuse
In the event of improper use of the right of way or stopping areas, the authorization will be withdrawn and the vehicle will be towed away. The Road Traffic Regulations and the Civil Aerodrome Terms and Conditions of Use apply in their current version.
